Electronic pucho

Most people think these are stupid. You want to know what I think is stupid?! Smoking cigarettes knowing that it fucks you up in more ways than one. And you can imagine just how stupid it seems after having cancer... Beyond stupid, practically suicidal. I'm not saying people can't be allowed to smoke. I don't give a FUDGE what you do with your body, it's your call. But the last few years, whilst dealing with a thousand little/ big/ medium after effects from chemo and radiation, I've been on a healthy high (as well as a regular weed induced one...) and I plan to keep it up. You would too if some super renowned doctor from the United States told you your illness would return, no doubt about it, and you were trying to prove them abso-fuckin-lutely WRONG. I've been in remission for almost 4 years and I'm going to do everything I can to keep that going. Me and my boyfriend are currently saving up to buy a vaporizor - preferably a Volcano.

This is my religion right now. And I'm not like one of those evangelists that wants to convert you. I'm not preaching to anyone but myself. I believe in the power of me, eventhough that sounds absolutely ridiculous said outload... hahahaha

And this ridonculous wanna be cigarette is going to help me get there.

No estoy sermoneando a nadie, salvo a mí misma.

Society is a bitch!

Cambiar siempre significa sacrificar.

Change means sacrifice. But its not the only thing that defines it, eventhough its the most painful part.
Sacrifing a part of yourself. Giving in and being labeled. Society doesn't accept you if she can't label you. If you cannot be labeled you become a social outcast, you are invisible. It doesn't matter if you're young or old, if you chose this or not. Outcasts can be rich or poor; although they're usually poor because rich social outcasts have new categories created or are forced into the existing ones. All Societies are like bubbles.
Societies usually get married to Paradigms. But they don't get married forever, eventhough it may seem that way sometimes. When they get re-married they keep things belong to their former love.
Many times Societies don't get along. They all think they're right on the money and make religions to backup their arguments. Religions can be very complicated and basic at the same time. Its very hard not to argue with them or at least question some of their arguments.
The key is to let Society label you, but you should never label yourself. And if you can, get to know other Societies instead of staying with the one you know, because its confortable, because you know its ins and outs (!), because it's the only thing you know and you're scared of something different.
We are all different.

Chileando! - Chillin in Chile

This blog has a new-found meaning now that I'm living in another country. Not only will it continue to be a bizarre combination of cathartic moments, images and things that I find particular/ strange or funny (Domo's funny ha ha & funny peculiar); it will also be a way of documenting my time in Santiago (Chile) for those that might miss me back home or for strangers that swarm the web and want to be entertained (or not) momentarily by a wacky Argentinean...

Another characteristic of this new blog-fase, will be that posts will be written in both English and Spanish. This is a good idea because:
1. When I choose to write either in Spanish or in English I always feel like I'm not entirely communicating everything I want to say, since each language represents something different in me.
2. I wanna give a shout-out to my gurl Amelia. :p The english version is mostly for you and any other english speaking person who might find this amusing (or not!).

MIS MEDIAS SON UN CAMBALACHE ABSOLUTO. TENGO UNA CONDICIÓN: MIENTRAS MAS COLORIDAS MEJOR.
MY SOCK COLLECTION IS LIKE A GAY PARADE: everyone can come, as long as they're colourful and soft.

SE VIENE EL INVIERNO CON TUTTI (primer invierno en Chile...)
I'M LOOKING FOWARD TO WINTER THIS YEAR (I PREDICT I'LL REGRET SAYING THIS...)

AL GORDO PELADO LE DIERON LA AYUDANTIA QUE TANTO QUERIA! VAAAAMOS FUTOOOO!
FATTY ACID GOT THE CLASS HE WANTED. HE'S GOING TO BE A TEACHER'S ASISSTANT.

feliz cumple punto! / happy birthday!
CERRO SANTA LUCIA

P.S.: I don't really know how long I'll be able to mantain this English-Spanish blog idea...

P.P.S.: The last couple of times I was on a plane, the stewardess said that there was an extra bathroom, only for women... Is this really necesary? Should we feel grateful or discriminated?! I could see this being necesary in a wedding or a party (where there's always endless lines in the woman's bathroom - i should know because i have a bladder the size of a peanut and drink ridiculous ammounts of water)... But I have never seen an all-ladies line in an airplane. WTF?
